Twenty One Pilots claimed victory over Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas in the first appearance at the venue. The band dominated the audience’s attention through quick fits of bombastic drumming merged with pop hip hop offset by sudden slides into more traditional sounding indie rock supported by uplifting piano and even EDM moments. The band seemed all over the place sometimes dressed in full body suit costumes with ski masks and other times out of their shells amidst the classing genres but somehow it all seemed cohesive. The audience followed their every direction singing along with hands waving in the air. The band ended with their now infamous closer crowd surfing on top of boards being held up with floor toms taking the now over used percussive spectacle to new heights.
